The special issue of the Fifth International Conference of the Institute of Genetic Engineering was issued, and this was the second issue of the second volume (21) for the year 2022 of the Iraqi Journal of Biotechnology, which is a scientific journal issued by the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology. The issue included 78 papers in various medical and environmental specialties, life sciences and technologies Biology, genetics, and agricultural sciences. A large number of Iraqi and foreign researchers participated in their research, and many researches were cited in the journal, which increases the balance of the journal within the local and international journals to enter the scientific capacities, which increases the number of Baghdad University journals involved in this discreet scientific field.
